St James the Great, Dursley

The church of St James the Great is the parish church for Dursley, standing in a commanding position in the town centre.  The church is currently open every day from 9am until 5pm and we welcome visitors.

Our normal service pattern is:

Sundays

10am Sung Holy Communion using Common Worship modern language with the Parish Choir reflecting our strong choral tradition.  Sadly, at the moment we do not have a Junior Church so children stay in the church for the whole service.  There is an area of the church were we have books and toys.
